This past week I have been working on creating a footstep system. The system plays footsteps depending on the type of surface underneath each foot, and also plays a VFX depending on the surface.
Next, I went back to box pushing to clean it up. The player now just holds and releases the push button rather than toggling it. The player gets aligned with the normal of the box and has their rotation locked as well so they don't move away from the box as it gets pushed.
Lastly, I have assisted Chris by making it so that the player cannot grapple to an object and then stretch out the grapple by moving away from their initial point.
